The term writing here can be anything. It can be a story of daily life, recipe of food, opinion or even an important thing like a report of project. And also, when we write something, it should be still origin which means that we haven't found it yet anywhere else.
The first benefit of writing is we will start to think what it is about. Is it not a burden?? mhhh...a benefit lah rather doing nothing =p. The easiest way to get the idea is by exploring our memories or experiences in the past. The flow is clear and we do not need to "think" again since it just a description of our experiences in the word form. However, if we write something that is new, an example is a fiction stories, it would be more difficult. The idea may comes after we have reviewed many references, mixed it together, and arrange into the word form in different manner.
The second benefit is when we review the references, we will gain a new knowledge. The knowledge can be anything. Atleast, we know who is the person who wrote that reference. Sometimes, it would be useful by knowing the famous person in such specific area. An example is when we need a reference to accomplish our project, we do not need to spent time to find a good reference. Sometimes, it takes time.
The third benefit is when we want to write something, of course, we have to spent an effort especially time. We may use our pleasure time to think about the idea of the writing. Is it a burden? mmmhhh..it can be. However, writing can be an enjoyable activity during the pleasure time. Why?? because basically our brain needs to think all the time except during sleeping time. How many time do you feel very bore when you have nothing to do?? the answer is when we don't have nothing to do, our brain stop to think which is undesirable state to have.
And there are many others advantage of writing. Improve our english? mhh..for me, it is obvious. Finally, the most important thing during writing is..my brain starts to think and it a real pleasure time.
