Ramadhan is coming..

Tomorrow will be the special day for all of moslem in the world since it will be the first day of ramadhan month (islamic calender). It means that everyone who is eligible to do the fast should perform this obligation except for people who is not able to do it. An example is the old-pregnan woman, child, old people, people who is in travel, and etc.

The reason why ramadhan becomes special is because Allah SWT grants a forgiveness for people who have willingness to follow the obligation and also pray to Allah SWT in order to get forgiveness of their sin. And all the things are not easy to carry out since we should have a strong willingness to do it and also we should not repeat all those kind of sin (doing all the things that disallow).

During ramadhan, our activity is like usual day except we go to mosque to perform sholat tarawih in the evening before sholat isya’ is held. Sholat tarawih is a sunnah means that if we do it we will get an extra reward. It is not surprised if most of the mosque is full during ramadhan. However, people come to mosque is not only to perform sholat tarawih. They also come for ngaji (read an Al-quran), majelis ilmu, sholat duha, and many other activities in order to seek a reward and forgiveness from Allah SWT since He promise to multiple the reward.

Although ramadhan comes every year, I feel that it always special. The spirit of ramadhan trigger us to make ourself becomes better. I can feel this from other people behavior which is very determinated in doing their work. Like self-conductance, this force us to do the same manner with them. However, the willingness which come from our hearth is the most important thing to make us better and ramadhan environment is helpful to trigger that willingness come out.

Marhaban ya ramadhan, happy ramadhan. Hope we can perform better than before.
